The Pro-male collective (PMC) is a collection of liberal, MRA, pro-male activist groups that have communities on Reddit, YouTube and Wordpress. It focuses primarily on anti-feminism, men's rights, anti-trad-conism and anti-circumcision. The group has origins in the MGTOW scene, but abandoned the label out of distaste for what they considered a degradation of that movement. However, PMC members often still veer towards male separatism.
They are not an incel-centric collective. While having opinions about incel people, they lean towards other men's rights issues. The leaders and members are not necessarily incels, and, have in the past, been hostile to the, “incel mindset”. There was notable overlap between the pro-male collective and the (original) incel wikis, due to the social networks of both.
The original PMC group current resides at reddit.com/r/pro_male_collective (with underscores). Past sites of theirs include a splinter group called r/promalecollective (without underscores, now banned) and a now offline wiki called promale.wiki.
The group was initially founded by two vloggers named Analyzing Male Slavery and Male Sentient Void. Analyzing Male Slavery led the group for two years and then was ousted by a majority of his community during a coup led by a disgruntled member who thought that Analyzing Male Slavery was too strict, too controlling, and too self-aggrandizing. Male Sentient Void hasn't been active for a while. After the founder was ousted the Pro-male Collective thought about changing their name from the, Pro-male Collective, to something else, but resigned themselves to keeping the name because of Reddit not letting them change their subreddit name.
The original pro-male collective founded by Analyzing Male Slavery and, Male Sentient Void moved from /r/promalecollective to /r/pro_male_collective (with underscores). The latter is smaller but more purist. Arguably the former watered down their manifesto so much it's hardly distinguishable from generic MRA groups anymore. r/promalecollective has ben taken down as of aug.21
They have many YouTube channels and organize through Google hangouts. Most of their channels use a text-to-speech program, but some use their real voices. They have major beef with Turd Flinging Monkey and other MGTOWs they see as tradcon.
They have an origin in some of the earliest anti-feminism blogs, and the atheist/skeptic commmunity, then went into the MGTOW space, and are now in the MRA space. They are best seen as sort of a hybrid of MGTOW, MRA, and anti-traditionalism.
Under AnalyzingMaleSlavery's rule, the Pro-male collective ran the group Pinkpill Watch. Pinkpill Watch, was a subreddit and Discord group which took credit for the banning of the radically misandrist subreddits r/PinkpillFeminism and r/BlackpillFeminism.
Some things they do stand for that is not defined by opposition to something... is a UBI and a call for equal parenting (i.e. both parents work just as hard), and occasionally they lean towards male separatist type opinions, but deny they do so.
