Love Gap aka 恋愛の格差 is a Japanese-language book published in 2002 by Ryu Murakami which focuses on the author's negative evaluation of involuntary celibacy.


Murakami has a history of publicly evaluating Japanese society as Social Darwinian, and he believes American culture has had an incelizing effect on Japan.

For example, he believes American men are, "stealing", Japanese women from Japanese men.
